GALATIANS CHAPTER 6
Latin Vulgate | Greek Textus Receptus | English King James |
---|---|---|
Galatians 6:1 Fratres, etsi præoccupatus fuerit homo in aliquo delicto, vos, qui spirituales estis, hujusmodi instruite in spiritu lenitatis, considerans teipsum, ne et tu tenteris. | Galatians 6:1 ἀδελφοί ἐὰν καὶ προληφθῇ ἄνθρωπος ἔν τινι παραπτώματι ὑμεῖς οἱ πνευματικοὶ καταρτίζετε τὸν τοιοῦτον ἐν πνεύματι πρᾳότητος, σκοπῶν σεαυτόν μὴ καὶ σὺ πειρασθῇς | Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. |
6:2 Alter alterius onera portate, et sic adimplebitis legem Christi. | 6:2 ἀλλήλων τὰ βάρη βαστάζετε καὶ οὕτως ἀναπληρώσατε τὸν νόμον τοῦ χριστοῦ | 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. |
| 6:3 εἰ γὰρ δοκεῖ τις εἶναί τι μηδὲν ὤν ἑαυτόν φρεναπατᾷ | 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. |
| 6:4 τὸ δὲ ἔργον ἑαυτοῦ δοκιμαζέτω ἕκαστος καὶ τότε εἰς ἑαυτὸν μόνον τὸ καύχημα ἕξει καὶ οὐκ εἰς τὸν ἕτερον | 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. |
6:5 Unusquisque enim onus suum portabit. | 6:5 ἕκαστος γὰρ τὸ ἴδιον φορτίον βαστάσει | 6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden. |
6:6 Communicet autem is qui catechizatur verbo, ei qui se catechizat, in omnibus bonis. | 6:6 κοινωνείτω δὲ ὁ κατηχούμενος τὸν λόγον τῷ κατηχοῦντι ἐν πᾶσιν ἀγαθοῖς | 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. |
6:7 Nolite errare: Deus non irridetur. | 6:7 Μὴ πλανᾶσθε θεὸς οὐ μυκτηρίζεται ὃ γὰρ ἐὰν σπείρῃ ἄνθρωπος τοῦτο καὶ θερίσει | 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. |
| 6:8 ὅτι ὁ σπείρων εἰς τὴν σάρκα ἑαυτοῦ ἐκ τῆς σαρκὸς θερίσει φθοράν ὁ δὲ σπείρων εἰς τὸ πνεῦμα ἐκ τοῦ πνεύματος θερίσει ζωὴν αἰώνιον | 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. |
| 6:9 τὸ δὲ καλὸν ποιοῦντες μὴ ἐκκακῶμεν καιρῷ γὰρ ἰδίῳ θερίσομεν μὴ ἐκλυόμενοι | 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. |
| Galatians 6:10 ἄρα οὖν ὡς καιρὸν ἔχομεν ἐργαζώμεθα τὸ ἀγαθὸν πρὸς πάντας μάλιστα δὲ πρὸς τοὺς οἰκείους τῆς πίστεως | Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. |
6:11 Videte qualibus litteris scripsi vobis mea manu. | 6:11 ἴδετε πηλίκοις ὑμῖν γράμμασιν ἔγραψα τῇ ἐμῇ χειρί | 6:11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. |
| 6:12 ὅσοι θέλουσιν εὐπροσωπῆσαι ἐν σαρκί οὗτοι ἀναγκάζουσιν ὑμᾶς περιτέμνεσθαι μόνον ἵνα μὴ τῷ σταυρῷ τοῦ χριστοῦ διώκωνται | 6:12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. |
| 6:13 οὐδὲ γὰρ οἱ περιτεμνόμενοι αὐτοὶ νόμον φυλάσσουσιν ἀλλὰ θέλουσιν ὑμᾶς περιτέμνεσθαι ἵνα ἐν τῇ ὑμετέρᾳ σαρκὶ καυχήσωνται | 6:13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. |
| 6:14 ἐμοὶ δὲ μὴ γένοιτο καυχᾶσθαι εἰ μὴ ἐν τῷ σταυρῷ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ δι᾽ οὗ ἐμοὶ κόσμος ἐσταύρωται κἀγὼ τῷ κόσμῳ | 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. |
| 6:15 ἐν γὰρ χριστῷ ἰησοῦ οὔτε περιτομή τί ἰσχύει, οὔτε ἀκροβυστία ἀλλὰ καινὴ κτίσις | 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. |
6:16 Et quicumque hanc regulam secuti fuerint, pax super illos, et misericordia, et super Israël Dei. | 6:16 καὶ ὅσοι τῷ κανόνι τούτῳ στοιχήσουσιν εἰρήνη ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔλεος καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν ἰσραὴλ τοῦ θεοῦ | 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. |
| 6:17 τοῦ λοιποῦ κόπους μοι μηδεὶς παρεχέτω ἐγὼ γὰρ τὰ στίγματα τοῦ κυριοῦ ἰησοῦ ἐν τῷ σώματί μου βαστάζω | 6:17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. |
6:18 Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi cum spiritu vestro, fratres. Amen. | 6:18 ἡ χάρις τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ μετὰ τοῦ πνεύματος ὑμῶν ἀδελφοί ἀμήν πρός γαλάτας ἐγράφη ἀπό ῥώμης | 6:18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. |
