REVELATION CHAPTER 22

Latin VulgateGreek Textus ReceptusEnglish King James
Revelation 22:1 Et ostendit mihi fluvium aquæ vitæ, splendidum tamquam crystallum, procedentem de sede Dei et Agni. Revelation 22:1 καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι καθαρὸν ποταμὸν ὕδατος ζωῆς λαμπρὸν ὡς κρύσταλλον ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ τοῦ θρόνου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τοῦ ἀρνίου Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
22:2 ἐν μέσῳ τῆς πλατείας αὐτῆς καὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ ἐντεῦθεν καὶ ἐντεῦθεν ξύλον ζωῆς ποιοῦν καρποὺς δώδεκα κατὰ μῆνα ἕνα ἕκαστον ἀποδιδοῦν τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ φύλλα τοῦ ξύλου εἰς θεραπείαν τῶν ἐθνῶν 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
22:3 καὶ πᾶν κατανάθεμα οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι καὶ ὁ θρόνος τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τοῦ ἀρνίου ἐν αὐτῇ ἔσται καὶ οἱ δοῦλοι αὐτοῦ λατρεύσουσιν αὐτῷ 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
22:4 Et videbunt faciem ejus: et nomen ejus in frontibus eorum. 22:4 καὶ ὄψονται τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τῶν μετώπων αὐτῶν 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
22:5 καὶ νὺξ οὐκ ἔσται ἐκει καὶ χρείαν οὐκ ἔχουσιν λύχνου καὶ φωτὸς ἡλίου ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεὸς φωτίζει αὐτούς καὶ βασιλεύσουσιν εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
22:6 καὶ εἶπέν μοι οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι πιστοὶ καὶ ἀληθινοί καὶ κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν ἁγίων προφητῶν ἀπέστειλεν τὸν ἄγγελον αὐτοῦ δεῖξαι τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ ἃ δεῖ γενέσθαι ἐν τάχει 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
22:7 Et ecce venio velociter. Beatus, qui custodit verba prophetiæ libri hujus. 22:7 ἰδού ἔρχομαι ταχύ μακάριος ὁ τηρῶν τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Et postquam audissem, et vidissem, cecidi ut adorarem ante pedes angeli, qui mihi hæc ostendebat: 22:8 καὶ ἐγὼ ἰωάννης ὁ βλέπων ταῦτα καὶ ἀκούων καὶ ὅτε ἤκουσα καὶ ἔβλεψα ἔπεσα προσκυνῆσαι ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ποδῶν τοῦ ἀγγέλου τοῦ δεικνύοντός μοι ταῦτα 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
22:9 καὶ λέγει μοι ὅρα μή σύνδουλός σου γάρ εἰμι καὶ τῶν ἀδελφῶν σου τῶν προφητῶν καὶ τῶν τηρούντων τοὺς λόγους τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου τῷ θεῷ προσκύνησον 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Revelation 22:10 Et dicit mihi: Ne signaveris verba prophetiæ libri hujus: tempus enim prope est. Revelation 22:10 καὶ λέγει μοι μὴ σφραγίσῃς τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου ὅτι ὁ καιρὸς ἐγγύς ἐστιν Revelation 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
22:11 ὁ ἀδικῶν ἀδικησάτω ἔτι καὶ ὁ ῥυπῶν ῥυπωσάτω ἔτι καὶ ὁ δίκαιος δικαιωθήτω ἔτι καὶ ὁ ἅγιος ἁγιασθήτω ἔτι 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
22:12 καὶ ἰδού ἔρχομαι ταχύ καὶ ὁ μισθός μου μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἀποδοῦναι ἑκάστῳ ὡς τὸ ἔργον αὐτοῦ ἐσται 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
22:13 Ego sum alpha et omega, primus et novissimus, principium et finis. 22:13 ἐγώ εἰμι τὸ α καὶ τὸ ω ἀρχὴ καὶ τέλος ὁ πρῶτος καὶ ὁ ἔσχατος 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
22:14 μακάριοι οἱ ποιοῦντες τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ ἵνα ἔσται ἡ ἐξουσία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸ ξύλον τῆς ζωῆς καὶ τοῖς πυλῶσιν εἰσέλθωσιν εἰς τὴν πόλιν 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
22:15 ἔξω δὲ οἱ κύνες καὶ οἱ φάρμακοι καὶ οἱ πόρνοι καὶ οἱ φονεῖς καὶ οἱ εἰδωλολάτραι καὶ πᾶς ὁ φιλῶν καὶ ποιῶν ψεῦδος 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
22:16 Ego Jesus misi angelum meum testificari vobis hæc in ecclesiis. Ego sum radix, et genus David, stella splendida et matutina. 22:16 ἐγὼ ἰησοῦς ἔπεμψα τὸν ἄγγελόν μου μαρτυρῆσαι ὑμῖν ταῦτα ἐπὶ ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ῥίζα καὶ τὸ γένος τοῦ δαβίδ ὁ ἀστὴρ ὁ λαμπρὸς καὶ ὀρθρινός 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
22:17 καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα καὶ ἡ νύμφη λέγουσιν ἐλθε καὶ ὁ ἀκούων εἰπάτω ἐλθε καὶ ὁ διψῶν ἐλθέτω καὶ ὁ θέλων λαμβανέτω τὸ ὕδωρ ζωῆς δωρεάν 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
22:18 Contestor enim omni audienti verba prophetiæ libri hujus: si quis apposuerit ad hæc, apponet Deus super illum plagas scriptas in libro isto. 22:18 συμμαρτυροῦμαι γὰρ παντὶ ἀκούοντι τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου ἐάν τις ἐπιτιθῇ πρὸς ταῦτα ἐπιθήσει ὁ θεὸς ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν τὰς πληγὰς τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν βιβλίῳ τούτῳ 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
22:19 Et si quis diminuerit de verbis libri prophetiæ hujus, auferet Deus partem ejus de libro vitæ, et de civitate sancta, et de his quæ scripta sunt in libro isto: 22:19 καὶ ἐάν τις ἀφαιρῇ ἀπὸ τῶν λόγων βίβλου τῆς προφητείας ταύτης ἀφαιρήσει ὁ θεὸς τὸ μέρος αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ βίβλου τῆς ζωῆς καὶ ἐκ τῆς πόλεως τῆς ἁγίας καὶ τῶν γεγραμμένων ἐν βιβλίῳ τούτῳ 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Revelation 22:20 dicit qui testimonium perhibet istorum. Etiam venio cito: amen. Veni, Domine Jesu. Revelation 22:20 λέγει ὁ μαρτυρῶν ταῦτα ναί ἔρχομαι ταχύ ἀμήν ναί ἔρχου κύριε ἰησοῦ Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
22:21 Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi cum omnibus vobis. Amen. 22:21 ἡ χάρις τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ μετὰ πάντων ὑμῶν ἀμήν 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
