Introduction 1.1

This is a word study is about the Hebrew word חֹדֶשׁ, 'chodesh' meaning 'month', and gives every verse where the Hebrew word "chodesh" appears. 2 Chronicles 2:4 Behold, I build a house to the name of Yahweh my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, and on the new months, and on the solemn feasts of Yahweh our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
3:2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

3:13 And the letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
