This is a thorough Greek word study about the Greek word ὄνομα, 'onoma' meaning 'name' (Strong's 3686). It gives every verse where the word 'onoma' appears in the New Testament. To obtain a true understanding of this word these scriptures need to be meditated on and notes made of their meaning in different contexts. This requires putting scriptures together where they seem to have a similar meaning, and then meditating even more. 3:5 He who overcomes, he shall be clothed in white garments; and I will surely not blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
3:8 I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no man is able to shut it: for you have a little power, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
3:12 He who overcomes I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall surely not go out any more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and my new name.

13:1 And I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and ten crowns on his horns, and names of blasphemy on his heads.
13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tent, and those who dwell in heaven.
13:8 And all who dwell on the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb, who was slain from the foundation of the world.
13:17 And that no one would be able to buy or sell, except he who had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
14:1 And I looked, and see, the Lamb standing on mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty four thousand, who have his Father's name written on their foreheads.
14:11 And the smoke of their torment goes up for ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.
15:2 And I saw a sea of glass as mixed with fire: and those who overcome the beast, and his image, and the mark of the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
15:4 Who shall surely not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before you; for your righteous judgements were manifested.
16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has authority over these plagues: and they did not repent to give him glory.
17:3 And he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:5 And a name was written on her forehead, Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of prostitutes and abominations of the earth.
17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and go into ruin: and those who dwell on the earth shall marvel, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, although he is.
19:12 His eyes are as a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns; and he has a name written, that no one knows except himself.
19:13 And he is clothed with a garment dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
19:16 And he has the name King of Kings and Lord of Lords written on his garment and on his thigh.
21:12 Having both a great high wall and having twelve gates (and at the gates twelve angels) and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.
21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.
